Clouds Over the Vineyard
The sticker in the window stated “My Governor is an Idiot.” Sheesh! What kind of person puts that on display? What thoughts and feelings prompted someone to make that sticker, another person to sell it, and another person to buy it? I mean, what the hey?
I guess there is nothing over which someone can’t get all fussed about.
The thing is, emotions like anger, hatred, resentment, and bitterness are omnivorous beasts: they can survive on anything. They are easy to feed, and that’s what makes them so dangerous. Without the wrath of sour grapes to sustain them, they satisfy their appetite by devouring their creator. Not good.
(Note to self: Don’t give into the beasts – watch the clouds instead.)
