To humans, these tide pools are rocks, pebbles, and puddles of water. But to the little critters than inhabit them, they are mountains and valleys, rivers and lakes. However, the sky above looks the same from either perspective.
People can look at the world and see different things. They tell two different stories about the same subject. If they are fine with other people’s viewpoint, then fine. If not, I think they should look up at the sky.
(Note to self: People tell themselves stories to try and make sense of their world. The stories may not be true, but they act like they are anyway.)
